Job Description: Primary mission and goal of a Roadside Service Tech is to help drivers who are in need of roadside assistance. This includes services such as Flat Tire Changes, Battery Jump Starts, Fuel Deliveries, and Lock Outs. Must be able to work outdoors in any weather condition, able to lift 50 lbs. or more, be in good mental and physical condition, and have some knowledge and use of electrical and mechanical tools. You MUST provide your own tools. JMZ does not provide tools or equipment. No Tools, no problem. See Staff for more info.
As a roadside service technician, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills, a good attitude, strong attention to detail, reliable, able accept jobs anytime of the day including weekends and holidays, great work ethic, and be bi-lingual (English and Spanich). Be able to perform assigned task with little to no supervision.
Pay is based on the number completed roadside service assignments. JMZ Roadside pay per job is $17 per completed assignment. Mileage will also apply for assignments 20 miles or more. Pay is non taxable and is payed on Fridays. JMZ Roadside Service uses Messenger Pay, CashApp or Direct Deposit to process weekly payments. You must have, or be able to use these service as a condition of employment for pay purposes. JMZ Roadside Services does not offer payed benefits (Vacation, Sick, or Medical) at this time.
*Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, Federal and State Safety guidelines require everyone to wear Facemask. JMZ Roadside Services strongly adheres to CDC guidelines, and as a condition of employment, all Roadside Technicians must wear facemasks when performing roadside services, especially being in close contact with customers.
